| Quote Standee="Standee"I didn't make anything up, I know what the match day experience was like, awful, I can understand it having an effect on the players as well.
One thing I do know, as do you, a demonstration at the KC would do nothing to make the club sack Agar.'"
You did Standee, you said at both games there were only two songs sang. This is a lie.
Anyhoo, quite correct im afraid

I suggest about 2,500 turn up an hour early, make sure 1,500 of them bring two house bricks each, 250 bring a bucket of sand and cement, 250 bring buckets of water and 500 bring a trowel!

This is supposed to be a protest, not agar's next defensive strategy

| Quote Robbo4="Robbo4"As for demonstrations its not normally something I would even consider but when you look at what happened with Wire and Cullen it looks like it could be the only way to get something done about the current coaching set up. Our board seem blindly convinced he is the man for the job and as long as the money keeps coming in and the negative press is kept to a minimum they will not change their mind.'"
Cullen walked, and the Wire board then appointed Lowes. It took quite a while longer before they got around to appointing Smith.
I can't see Agar walking away from the job no matter how many protests are held. Cullen was an ex player and a fan, so far more emotionally involved.

My point was that poor performances on the pitch are going to have no effect on the board whatsoever. I get the feeling they have decided after sacking the last 2 coaches relatively quickly that stability is key and if they wait long enough Agar will bring success. The only way to change this point of view is to hit them in the pocket and the fastest way to do that is with protests as it raises awareness and builds support.
The major hurdle to that is the attitude of the fans who think that protests and staying away means you are being disloyal when in fact it couldn't be further from the truth.

May I say , without trying to belittle your post that you could not be further from the truth about the loyalties of Mrs Hetherington , JR and RA.
I can say from personal experience of the lady that there is no bigger fan of FC and no one who wants them to do well more than KH , thats a fact!!
with regards the finances I can assure you Mrs Hetherington is not in need of the cash !!
JR watches every match like a fan in a suit and i have personally witnessed him screaming at players and refs who make mistakes just like all fans do .
And Mr Agar I can tell you is a very very calm , mild mannered individual who does not let on field issues get to him, he motors forward in a very VERY professional manner but i can assure you recent events have hurt him very much but unlike many on here , HE does not give up !!
Do not underestimate how much the sucess of the club means to the people who matter, it does not seem like it does to you all because you dont see them on a weekly basis ..

| also do you think that acting like halfwits in a protest will make players play better, or injuries not happen...
It will just make the whole scenario that much worse .. thankfully it will not happen because folk in RL do not do those things

I have two issues with the idea of a protest...
1. It will look a bit silly the whole time we are still in the top 8.
2. It will achieve nothing as it will not involve enough fans.
Staying away strikes me as a high-risk strategy. Do it in sufficient numbers to make a point and you risk the financial well-being of the club. It then becomes a case of playing chicken with the board and hoping they blink first.
I have no view on how loyal or otherwise fans who want to protest or stay away are.
