Although Yeamna was poor with ball in hand last night (who wasnt), he wasnt the worst, I think he has had a good season so far so deserves to play.

I think he will play.
I'd pair Whiting with Briscoe as Whiting is fairly solid under the high ball and I think he'd give Briscoe a bit more protection than Yeaman. I also think Hall should play which leaves the tough option of dropping Yeaman.

Yeaman and Briscoe were both shocking and, for me, so bad that they should be dropped. How many times are we going to see Briscoe out of position for opponents tries before he recieves any criticism ?? It is becoming beyond the joke !

If we go into the derby with golden boy Briscoe on one of our wings, dobson will a have a field day !!

Who else do we put there though?
Our only winger is out injured and we're struggling to effectively cover him let alone dropping Briscoe aswell.

That's exactly why I would put Manu out there. We have the cover in the back row and it would enable us to go into the dobbins game with two solid wingers in Whiting and Turner.

For me, that's as good as it currently gets and would gives us a fighting chance when faced with kicks to the corner aswell as giving us a more potent threat out wide in Hall and Manu.

That backline has too many people playing out of position for my liking. Two makeshift wingers and a second row in the centres is going to get caught out IMO. I know out defence on the flanks has been a bit flimsy so far but I don't think replacing Yeaman with Manu is going to achieve anything, he just doesn't have the experience and centre is supposedly the hardest place to defend.

His defensive mis-reads were worse last night than i've seen before. Every time they attacked down their right Yeamo was in no mans land every time.

Drop briscoe

Who would you replace him with? We've got no real wingers as it is, at least Briscoe has some experience of wing play.

I dont think Briscoe has done a lot wrong tbf.

Neither do I, he gets caught out a bit at times but we've leaked tries down the other side too.

Its a shame that Briscoe only gets the ball from dummy half and has a wall of defenders to run at! Still looks very strong in the collision and should be used further in field IMO.

Our backs in general get little ball in attack and are exposed in defence by our pattern of playing tight and sliding last minute. Doesn't excuse mis-reads and knock on's though like Yeamo last night and dropped ball by Lyne but other than that i cant really complain about the backs.

The bigger issue was our pack getting beat by a Salford pack that didnt look able to on paper. Was all about entusiasm and we showed none. Fitz and O'Meley were poor who normally lead from the front and Dowes/Radford may as well have not been on the park.

He definately got under the skin of Holdsworth and Alker didnt he!!
