In order to get to the game on Friday I took a half day off work, picked the other half up at 4pm from Nottingham and then we drove up to Hull, made it into West Park Hotel at 7:15 (M! was a nightmare), will I be rushing around like that and incurring the costs of fuel etc. in a hurry, at this moment in time I think not.
My pass was £230, 190 mile round trip plus works out at about £40 to go to a game, I could save enough for a weeks holiday by not going again!
They need to EARN the support.

| I now live around 60 miles away from the KC. To travel all that way (and back) on a Friday night to watch the rubbish we've been served up for the past three years is a lot to ask. I bought a child's pass this year because I don't want to lose my seat, but I don't think I'll be attending too many games until things start to change.

However I still maintain the board won't do anything too rash and in fairness we wanted a top 6 finish last season and he provided us with that. He could still see the season out and we could finish top 6 again, we don't know what will happen. I am prepared to give him 8-10 matches regardless of what other fans think. People said don't get carried away when we won our first 5 matches the other season and so I won't get carried away that we have lost our first two.'"
Pretty sums up my thoughts too.

| I really don't understand the viewpoint that we need a better coach if we're going to move forward, but Agar should still be given time. The two are mutually exclusive, aren't they?

I'm generally in favour of long term stability over changing coaches, and if I saw the slightest bit of encouragement on the pitch to make me feel that we are progressing I would support Agar. The fact is that we are not. I cannot think of one area of play in which we have improved under him. I do think that results will improve, but I don't believe we will ever challenge for honours under him and so for that reason he should be replaced.

It's clear to me, I don't think Agar is the man for the job but...the improved league position means he has earnt himself more time to prove he can. Come the end of the season I will still be sat here saying he is not the man, the difference will be if we have not improved again then the board can rightly act.

| He needs to go sooner rather than later, before team morale starts to deteriorate and we start losing players.

What's your problem with Tommy? I have noticed you following his comments around quite a bit, you even said 'you've been quiet' recently after one of his posts.
If you have something to say then say it. There are plenty of people who agree with certain posters on here, maybe they are like minded?

Don't worry, Paul, we work together. I'm currently filling in my 'Bullied at Work' report .

There are two issues here. Firstly, I don't see our position last season as an 'improvement' as such. I suppose by definition it was as we finished higher than we had done the previous two seasons, but we underachieved so badly in those seasons that it would have been hard not to finish higher. All he did last season was take us back to roughly the sort of standard we were at before he took over.
The second issue is with your last sentence. Given the amount of time Agar has had in charge of the club, and the lack of improvement seen, the board could 'rightly' remove him right now. A blind man could see he's not up to it - you even accept as much yourself despite saying he needs more time. By saying they could 'rightly' remove him at the end of the season if we haven't improved, it seems as though you're implying that it would not be 'right' to remove him before then.

Let's judge on last season as he was told (I believe) that he now had his team and it was time for excuses to stop. He had us around 4th all season and we eventually finished 6th. He can therefore go the board and say job done. So on that basis he has to improve us again and so judging him on two games would be unfair.

| So if we haven't improved by the end of the season the board can get rid of Agar and we as fans (and the club) will have wasted yet another year whilst other teams around us in the league continue to improve?
We might as well stop going to games now if that's the case. When you look at our team and the way we play there isn't suddenly going to be a massive turn around where we start scoring points like they're going out of fashion and winning games left, right and centre. People who think that may happen are kidding themselves - they really are.
