I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say.......It wasn't all down to him was it ??.... was an inference that despite his efforts, those around him wasn't the best and his 'averageness' was all that could be expected of him with 'average' players. But he gave it the best shot he could.

No off course it wasn't down to just Radford but he played a big part off whats been wrong with the last couple of years imo.

Too me there was nothing worse than "at loose forward number 11 and your captain Lee Radford".

He was a player paid to do a job, he never choose who he played with or what positions etc...he just went on the pitch and tried his best under the circumstances..
Our problems over the last few years are not down to any individual player!! but if they were I would pose the question wtf have we given Horney a 2 yr contract when his performance over the last couple of years have been woeful to say the least...I could go on!

He being an 11 playing 13 and being captain is all down to Agar.
My original post and point is that it isn't 'about' Radford and what he has done for FC, it's about what he has given to the game he loves, and the proceeds are for charity, no doubt a big lump if not all will go to the Preccie foundation. That's what it's all about, about giving something back to the game through his charitable donation, and as I said... it's a pity that a lot on here don't have the charity within them to support him/it.

I agree with what hes doing 100% with the charity its great. I was just talking about his time at Hull nothing to do with the game tomorrow and what hes done in the sport
