The ball rarely gets to our centres never mind the wings, on the left the ball gets as far as Manu, he slips the odd excellent ball other than that he takes on the defence like a man posessed. Thorman doesn't appear to have any sense of urgency about him, his kicking game has dropped off to below average lately and is IMO below standard for a SH. On the right Tickle doesn't get wide enough and R Horne takes on the line more often than he should, complete opposite to Thorman, G Horne is too slow off the mark and works too close to the line forcing his winger to be too tight or force him back inside.

watched Leeds v Saints tonight, Saints gave a masterclass of shifting the ball to the wings...superb.

We play with zero width so our outside backs don't get the the ball quickly enough, hence they don't get the chance to shine.

I don't know what it is with Hull but for years they seem to have had really slow left to right ball. The right centre and wingers hardly ever get it. The only width they ever played with was when Cooke would play his trade mark long ball to Yeaman/Raynor. Not much going on in the other direction.
