As a member of FC Voices, I will ask if it can go on the agenda for the next meeting for you for us to address the matter with John Cooper.

I have spoken to John Cooper about this when it came into being last year and he said if anyone was caught smoking in the stadium the stewards would ask them to put it out. If they were caught again then they would be thrown out.

As for the toilets he said stewards were going in at regular intervals to ensure no one was smoking in there, but its very difficult to do anything when people lock themselves into a cubicle and smoke.

It was becoming a joke in the ladies last year, everytime you opened the door a big plume of smoke came out.

I have two dogs myself so understand your care and probably would have done the same, however, this shouldn't be used as an excuse to break the law.

I also disagree about having somewhere to go as they knew when the were taking smoking up as a habit that they couldn't have a cigarette in ideal conditions all of the time. If someone cannot manage 2 hours without one, then I would consider seeking medical help.

I really cannot believe the amount of fuss this has caused, simple and effective solution.
