To me today confirmed most people's views. Dobbins are and it hurts to say this the top team in SL. We are a team building from the wreckage of the last few years . We are on the upward curve but it will take a couple more years to hopefully be sat at the top table. But the green shoots are there to see. Again it's obvious to see what we need and I'm sure Ritchie Rich and Cartwright will try to strengthen us. Still very positive about our team .

be interesting to see how dan [aka dave k] spins your show this afternoon against a team missing its 2 starting second rows and man of steel when the scores were level
Barron…Cust..Cartwright…Balmforth..Fash…Lane broken arm…as for show….16pt difference and we handed you 12 of them..not bad for a show.We are in a rebuild with money behind us from OWNERS not investors who have put money in for only 3 yrs….Bet your crusty sock will be getting a good workout tonight |

I'd also like to see the club focus on the passing it's been poor for years and years, the ball to Sezer on the last is usually round the ankles, behind or above the head and those lost split seconds getting the kick away hurt us
Agree with the last play distribution, Sezer had to take at least 3 or 4 passes above his head. Rapana's error rate is really hurting us in crucial times within games also. Fans can bag the likes of Fash & Chamberlain but Rapana's error count must be up there at the top. I'd be thinking about putting Pryce to full back. Keeping Cust at 6 and moving Rapana into the three quater line. That's not digging at Rapana, great player, I just think that would make us a stronger attacking team than we are now. Sooner put Hardaker at fb and Rapana centre….Pryce is our 6 and think Cust will be very good as the 14 he was brought in to play |

Radford was a bit like Peters is now….didnt trust his acedemy players….didnt Radford bring in Haworth and Johnson over Litten.We lost a host of young players because of radford |

Everything is better with hindsight though, we had two great 2nd rowers in Mini and Manu at the time so Hadley wasn't getting much game time and I never saw much from Jez when he played. You can't win em all. |

We could never get him on the pitch for any length of time, you'd have to ask why this was the case with us and how he's doing great for them. |

And picking Connor Wynne ahead of mikey lewis when we had the pick of the joint academy. In fact if there'd been no joint academy lewis would have joined ours Lewis admitted in an interview he was chubby and not playing his best and there is a good player in Wynne just attitude has been a continuing problem. Spotting young players isn't easy when the media do 'England football team in 5/10 years time ' lists sometimes only 2 or 3 names are right! |
