Just what we've been missing,a half with genuine speed,an eye for a gap and the element of unpredictability to play what's in front of him and change a game in the blink of an eye with his individual brilliance. Shaul needs to make sure he's on his shoulder supporting any breaks ala Horne and Briscoe and he'll score plenty. Really excited about this signing.

I saw every game Kelly played in a kr shirt and in my opinion what you get is a very mixed bag of brilliance and garbage big hitter in defence for a little man often misses tackles being to rash when the grounds dry up I think he will be dangerous in the fc team if sneyd does most of the kicking and Kelly stays focused youll be laughing

Is this the real reason why Kelly was dropped for the last few Rovers games, we know how bitter Hudge can get with Hull FC.

Behind our pack and with players like Shaul and Fonua is support he will have a great year. Off the field i'm sure that the club will give him all the support he needs and the added motivation of silverware will also be a bonus.

He'll certainly give us some creativity, not had that level since Craig Hall left the club (who showed us in the last Wakey game he's still got loads to offer and will go well in Toronto)

I said a long while back that we'd need to shift a big name to make a named signing and I was right, just wish the club would stop being so cloak and daggers even deceitful about it.

We will make some signings said Pearson, but not for a second did he hint that we'd have to shift one of our biggest stars to make it happen.
Certainly without Pritchard going the Kelly deal was never happening, one wonders then if the Pritchard deal was on the cards all along (to help the doggies out of their SC situation) or at best a back up plan because under the live cap rules there's no way we could have signed Kelly or anyone else of note despite all the loanees going out and Ellis's reduced wage.

I'm glad we've got Kelly, IF he can knuckle down and show us what we know he has in the locker it'll improve us a heck of a lot, just wish the club would cut the BS and just say it straight.
