surely out of all the guys playing the game in the uk we can find a few more coming up through the "system"?

| The result today summed up the difference between Super League and NRL, what more is they to say?
Our English forwards were litle short of a complete embarrassment. Peacock was battered from start to finish, and Graham just didn't look physically strong enough to go bruising against the Aussies.
Kicking game was crap. They was a brief 10 minute period when we had them rattled, but Tony Archer was quick to bring them back into the game with a penalty. He made countless judging mistakes, a serious knock on at the start of the game, and every 50/50 decision went against us.
Forgetting about the referee for a moment however, Australia were far superior. Today's humiliation is the final straw for the game in the north.
Eddie, Stevo and Phil Clarke must face the axe to say the least, but the RFL have well and truly had their s handed to them!
Take a bow Billy Slater and Greg Inglis!

In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

| there was no aggression in England's defense TBH i was expecting england to give it there all, give the Aussies a game, as Eddie said in the commentary "we will get to the final against the Aussies" but really i dont think we'll beat new Zealand on them performances, a huge step up is needed IMO.

| Same old story -yet again!!
The centres jumping out of the line, making poor decisions in defence,
leaving the winger with a 2 to 1 overlap every time.
The centres should be doing a man marking job.
Poor indiscipline, -giving more possession to Australia, time and time again.
Poor kicking game.
Wellens has no pace.
Gleeson's defence is shocking
Calderwood - at least he made 4 tackles on the spin.
Next week's game is a dead rubber.
I'd play
1.Smith
2 Gardner
3.Purdham
4.Sykes
5.Calderwood
6.Sinfield
7.Burrows
8.Morley
9.Higham
10,Graham
11Jones-Buchanan
12.Wilkin
13.Ellis

| Eddie is useless. This guy know nowt about rugby. He had the cheek to say England gave it their all Stevo was honest for once and said it was not good enough and Phil Clarke is the only one with any common sense! I would have liked to see Tony Rea on the commentry.
As for England, no aggresssion, no pride, no clue and no leader! What do the Aussies think now? Each year all they hear is GB/ England can do it and each year they fail to deliver. I thought the Aussies were arrogant. Not the case, just right about us...
Oh, and it surely is the death of international rugby. The Aussies wont come near us now. They have been putting up with us over the last few years, but now they might wash their hands of us. Cant blame them really

| be all and end all is the star players have it too easy playing for the likes of leeds and saints as there to dominant in our game.
Honestly can't see what sinfield offers to team apart from his goal kicking, gleeson had a shocker but give him credit he played on with an injury, pryce ? sure he's been elsewhere all tournament as i haven't seen him do anything yet burrow seems to be constantly tackling which in turn stifles his attacking play, overall pretty much how hull played all last year imo, not strong or quick enough and no half back taking the game by the scruff of the neck as the pack is been dominated
