No matter how much money an owner is worth it's very unusual for them to part with cash with potential return unless they are fans of the club ie Huddersfield and Rovers. Players have two priorities, money and winning. If winning is a priority, money no matter the amount will not attract quality players. The pools you fish in are not governed by money but by potential success.

We binned Reynolds off after a Catalans away game june/July time if I remember right. Only Sneyd who we signed after Cooke left that could string a few games together Dykes, Head, Long, Seymour, Holdsworth, Trueman. I'm sure I'm missing plenty of others

It’s unfortunate for JA and wouldn’t have ever been my choice of signing but it’s obvious he’s looking now down the barrel of a lengthy lay off. With his injury record you’d hope that something was put in place contractually. Either way I’m glad the club have acted in their best interests, having a playmaker on the sidelines for most or all of the season is the very last thing we need. If it is a major injury set back hope we can help JA get through it and get playing again soon.
