I read somewhere that McMeeken had virtually agreed a deal with another S/L club until Wakey came in with a massive offer and longer contract.Not worth getting into a bidding war even if we did have the money as looks as though Wakey are chucking money at players and that never ends well.

I'd sign Parcell if we need a hooker, type of player we need and looks like won't be staying at Rovers

I’ve missed Bullock off as well, be a steady signing. Think it was Oli leyland that played against us. Bill is the younger better brother who’s a hooker. Be good to sign a another hooker and slot him in at 7

I’m sure we could sign at least another 7 hookers, they could then play any position any time.

The nu brown situation is very similar to when we signed Shaun berrigan, a top centre/hooker, but we stuck him in the halves and didn't see the best of him

nothing confirmed, but reading between the lines he considered it last year,and hes got plans outside of rugby hence his 1 year deal

Fair play to him then, he'd probably get into most SL 17s but rugby league doesn't last forever.

Wonder whether we could de-register Carlos for two months if he’s injured and bring in Jackson Hastings? If we are well under the cap, then we would still have space to do this.

Rovers did that when they signed Willie Peters. Unless that loophole is now closed.

Carlos is no use to us while injured and we need a shot in the arm as our attacking flair is non existent.
