Quick update to all FC fans who read this.
With the knowledge of the Mods and a great many on here that the karl pryce thread was in fact a hoax and i shall tell you why ...
There is a great many fans who dislike immensly the way parts of the local media treat our club and as such a few of us on here got together and decided something small had to be done about it and as such what was decided was that i would take it on the chin and hang out a herring and see who bites on it because all the local media state over and over they do not read fans forums however with the helps of many other credible posters the illusion was set and guess what ...
it has apparently been on the radio numerous times today and the local rags are kicking the KC doors in trying to get an exclusive so it just shows that we were correct the local media get a vast majority of their info from trawling this forum and wilf will touch on that further on mondays diary!!
Once again many thanks to all the posters who got involved with their own "insider info" to give it more credibility and apologies to those who were led a 24 hour dance by the little fib we concocted!! apologies to you...
However.... the original thread may well have turned out to have some credence in fact !!

With the knowledge of some mods (presumably) just to be clear, I knew feck all about it and I'd imagine some others didn't either. So next time you decide to implicate other people in what ever you feel is funny then make sure you don't tar others with the same brush. |

Haha it was a harmless hoax to prove a little point and that's exactly what it was.. quite a few have taken it with a pinch of salt and laughed it off!!!
Having a POP at EXPRO, wolf and anyone else is a bit harsh really.. it won't make any difference to your life so just sit back take a deep breath and  Haha |

I dont think having a pop at expro is harsh at all to be honest. He has been quick to have a pop at anyone who has questioned his decision to laugh at the majority of posters who genuinely believed him. Fortunately, it has been stated that not all mods were in on this. My faith in this board has been slightly raised

Amen to that, what a load of tosh on here, people getting sniffy about the rumour threads on here being polluted by a hoax. There's been probably 10 rumour threads this season (at least) with 1,000 posts each. How many of those posts referenced Will Sharp coming (probably 2), or last season broke the stories of Fitz or O'Meley signing? 10,000 posts o'$hite in summary, but good fun. This is a messageboard, not Reuters.  |
