| an english forward would be a necessity by the sounds of it to replace cusack
i'm a fan of luke robinson and sam obst, and i would like to think either of them would do a good job regarding injury cover, or impact off the bench
i would like to see us recruit towards getting better cover for 6 & 7 since it may just win us a few extra games in a season. we shouldn't have to play washy there and IMO we'd be loads better with a specialist to cover
obviously Long & Horne are first choice but they are slightly injury prone these days

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| Obst is a overseas player.
I can't see why a young half back would come to us as cover if there's a clb willing to give them a start.
Hopefully Nicklas will be full time next year, closely followed by Williams

[sizeA winger from the NRL? Hasn't been very succesful.[/size
The problem with looking at he nrl is the top players, even regular first team players are earning very good money due to the exchange rate.
Realisticly the only players willing to come will be the ones at the end of their careers who believe they can extend it a year or two by coming to sl.'"
Sorry, got to disagree with that! Best & Blacklock are/were 2 of the best wingers we've had in recent years & Sing wasn't too shabby in his first season so I'd hardly consider importing NRL wingers to be unsuccessful

NRL imports are alot more expensive than the likes of reece lynne, tom briscoe, dennis tuffour and craig hall, and even calderwood
we could spend money better elsewhere. IMO we are ok for wingers next season- the youngsters are due some game time

Expensive yes but not unsuccessful which was the only thing I was pointing out.

| If we need a winger what about someone like Will Sharp? Not the best winger about but, I bet he'd fancy a move to a bigger club and won't cost the earth.
Plus he's English.

I'd go for Sharp, be a good signing, big, strong, fast and good in the air. Wouldn't waste a quota spot on an overseas winger.

i mainly meant our use if them and because they in their second season they struggled with fitness.

Hes more of a centre, although seems to do more than a job when he is on the wing!
I like us to go for Sharp

with phelps, carmont, bailey and palea'aesina all ooc I'd expect Wigan to keep all their young English lads.
Especially one that's scored 17 in 12 games.

| Quote: Sebasteeno "Why, he was the poorest FC player on the pitch on friday night?

Bit harsh on him considering he'd been out for 6 weeks with a broken collar bone and then missed a couple of games for a very understandable reason.
What was you expecting?
Even Agar said in his interview afterwards that they where looking at easing him and Lauaki back, rather than expecting miracles.
