Clearly Myler is changing the guard for next year. Can't be easy after the past years. Doing his best to get deals over the line.

Heard a while ago that towse had signed , don’t know a lot about him though .

I might really be clutching at straws and stretching imagination a bit but I did wonder if us taking King was a bit of a smoothener to a possible Lafai deal.
Granted I know we need players right now, but Salford clearly wanted King off their quota so they could make a play for Nikorima. The cynic in me wonders if Myler offered to take King to curry favour slightly, but yet while still providing us with another big body that we do need right now.

Dont think for one minute that Lam will come here but you have to ask yourself would it be worth it knowing its highly likely he would do exactly what Clifford did

Unfortunately that's a risk with most NRL signings these days.

For some reason NRL clubs don't see to fancy Lam (also Croft), be better than Dodd, Seizer, Hutchinson and Gamble.

If he could do what clifford did he'd have done it by now but looks like no one in the NRL is interested. Let's be honest, he'd be cover at best for an NRL side

Absolutely. If he signs which is unlikely and he has a get out clause he'll do to us what he's doing to Leigh and it's back to square one.

He wants to go back but no one is in for him at the moment but he's biding his time.

In the meantime there's a loophole in his contract which Leigh have overlooked that allows him to sign for a SL club. He's invoked this and we and maybe a couple of others are offering him a better deal. He has another good season and an NRL club comes in for him and It's Clifford all over again leaving us scrambling around for a replacement.

That's the way it is sadly.

I'd be happy to take Lam for a year as long as we had plenty of notice of him leaving.

Depends what he wants from an NRL move too. Does he want to be first choice, like Hastings or is he happy as a 3rd choice like Clifford.
