The attendances are a 3 year average so a dramatic downturn doesn't instantly impact the numbers. It's hard to get fans to come back when they are out of the habit though. And I think Cas have a lot more pay on the day fans than we do because most of the ground is terracing/unreserved.

Saints have folded as soon as they've come up against a good team

Yes as enjoyable as it's been the Rovers trophy drought is likely to end this season. Fair play to them, their recruitment has been excellent in the last couple of seasons.
