Players that are in international squads are better than players that arn't. International coaches don't say I'll pick so and so for my next squad even though he's rubbish and put my job on the line. They pick the best players in the country. Also these players that are leaving that everybody is kicking up a fuss about, what have we actually won with these players. People need to take off their black and white glasses. Most of our players are not good enough and Gentle can see that. By the way Turner has done well this year in flashes but I wouldn't be suicidle if he left

Given that the comment about Lynch was made in the wake of saying about Manu's departure, and Bradford players gaining admirers, I think he may well be meaning backrowers, i.e. Whitehead/Bateman.

Whitehead and Bateman are the only 2 players that impress me in the current Bradford side. Would be very pleased if we signed either of those. Would be surprised if Whitehead was an option given his new contract earlier in the season. Not sure what Bateman's situation is

I said the other week about Arundel compared to Turner, and I think it can apply to Evans as well from what I've seen, that right at this moment in time, Turner is the better player. However, he does have 2 years more experience/game time than both of them, and at the same age did not look as good as they do. Both also have at least as much potential as him, IMO more.

Lynch is better than most of the props in the England setup.

I don't agree that because you are picked in the international setup you are better than ones that aren't picked.

Don't forget Mcnanmara picks the squad and I personally don't have any faith in his decisions.

FWIW I think that Arundal is as good as turner at the moment, but he is two years younger and wants to play for Hull.
