Really happy with our effort. Kept trying to the end. Unbelievable improvement from last season. The players will be disappointed with some of the errors that proved to be costly, you gotta be clinical to win the big games.
That's gone now and we look forward to improving with the addition of Pryce, and right now we're looking like a competitive team in this competition. I think this team is well capable of making the play-offs. That would would be a good turnaround after last season.
You have to give credit where it's due to Rovers. Very dominant performance from the team that's travelling the best right now. See you in a couple of weeks.

Wasted Captain's Challenge
He had a poor game today He did. Needs to offer more given his experience and seniority. His error rate so far this year is not good enough. Just too many errors and poor decisions in general from the team today. Why use your Captain's Challenge after twenty minutes and with a scoreline of 0-0 unless you are 100% certain. Not that it made too much difference in the end. Bit harsh on Rapana….he offers way more than the golden boy Moy who makes mistake after mistake in every game he plays.Takeaway the 2 mistakes that led to try’s and it’s a lot closer.They was full strength and looked more cohesive,can they play better…not sure,we defo can but we need 2nd rowers now. |

Outclassed by the best team in the competition.
I wouldn’t say outclassed….2 mistakes led to trys and then it’s a closer game….we can improve a lot more…can they?…they may need to as the investment in rovers may soon dry up and then see what happens |

I'd also like to see the club focus on the passing it's been poor for years and years, the ball to Sezer on the last is usually round the ankles, behind or above the head and those lost split seconds getting the kick away hurt us
Agree with the last play distribution, Sezer had to take at least 3 or 4 passes above his head. Rapana's error rate is really hurting us in crucial times within games also. Fans can bag the likes of Fash & Chamberlain but Rapana's error count must be up there at the top. I'd be thinking about putting Pryce to full back. Keeping Cust at 6 and moving Rapana into the three quater line. That's not digging at Rapana, great player, I just think that would make us a stronger attacking team than we are now. |

To me today confirmed most people's views. Dobbins are and it hurts to say this the top team in SL. We are a team building from the wreckage of the last few years . We are on the upward curve but it will take a couple more years to hopefully be sat at the top table. But the green shoots are there to see. Again it's obvious to see what we need and I'm sure Ritchie Rich and Cartwright will try to strengthen us. Still very positive about our team .

Barron…Cust..Cartwright…Balmforth..Fash…Lane broken arm…as for show….16pt difference and we handed you 12 of them..not bad for a show.We are in a rebuild with money behind us from OWNERS not investors who have put money in for only 3 yrs….Bet your crusty sock will be getting a good workout tonight |
