Very strong rumours that the club are looking to move him on.
On the Wakefield forum that he's heading there.

He’s not had a preseason in two years and our upturn in form last year coincided with his return. I’d be eager to see how he looks after pre season before I made a decision.
People are quick to forget how young he is. He was in tha same academy team as Cam Scott who still hasn’t managed a become first team regular and many still saw as a young gun.
Signing a player like Lam would be class for 12 months before he goes to the NRL. Truey would then be at a new club and the fans would fuming we let him go. Despite wanting him gone whilst he was here, just like Sneyd'"
If Lam was going to the NRL, think it would be now.

Trueman just hasnt done enough for me, and he's 25 these should be the prime years. Salary is a big issue, if he was just in normal wages then ok fair enough but from bits Pearson has said its a big number.

| I'd only let Trueman go if we have a replacement lined up, don't want to be going with Cust/Abdul next year.

| id hope the Cust deal isn't done, but I think it is. Waste of money and quota spot for me, even more so if we get Lam, which I doubt we will.

| Not a fan of using a quota spot on a winger but would be tempted for Sivo or Ravalawa would be like an extra forward

Sivo has gone right off the boil, Ravalawa isn't bad, but not sure id waste the quota spot on either.

Was just about to post something similar, didn’t have specific player in mind but we keep missing out on these potential match winners and still think we need that bit of x-factor so maybe see if there’s any wingers that fit the bill.
People keep mentioning pace, I don’t disagree but don’t think we need a 100m sprinter but lack that real athletic player who can create something out of nothing. Like Mahe in his first spell, most modern wingers can play a bit of centre too.

| If we sign Lafai , His winger could well score 15/20 tries . He is near the top in SL for tackle bust and has around 15 try assists . Wingers delight .

That's how I see it. Even if he hasn't signed a deal with an NRL team I would have thought they'd be some rumours he was about to.
I'm guessing that he's unhappy with his deal at Leigh and his agent has been hawking him around and we and other clubs have offered him a substantial offer.
The termination clause to allow him to sign for another SL if valid is a massive oversight and embarrassment for Leigh. Even if he signs for another SL club I'd love it just to see Degsy's reaction.
We've been linked with several big names since the investment but none have come to fruition. Asista came out of the blue. As I say prepare to be disppointed.
Of course I and most of us haven't got a clue but it creates a bit of fun!

| Rumours of Armstrong been a marquee player, only played about 7 NRL games. so maybe is annoyed with his salary compared to others, he should be in the top 3 salaries.

| If the club think Moy can handle the 1 shirt, I’d give him it and not be afraid to use the quota spot on a winger that can carry out of back field. Talanoa is one of the best wingers we’ve had and his game wasn’t built on pace. He always beat the first man and excelled at those tough back line carries.

| I was reading some comments on the Facebook post about Tindall and Kai Armstrong been sent out on loan.
There's a fella commenting who claims he knows Kai's family and saying he's been told he isn't required at Hull.
Reading between the lines with his comments, Pearson was (or still is) a big fan of his and gave him a 3 year contract to keep him at the club when the Aussies were looking at him, but since Myler has taken over recruitment/retention he's not getting a look in.
From what I've seen and heard about the kid it would be a huge mistake if we lost him. Especially now we have somebody like Asiata coming in who can really mentor him and help bring him on. Hope it's all just a load of miscommunication or something.
