| dont know whether this is just a typo from Dan or whether he knows something we dont but he missed Truemans name from his report
Should the clause be proved legitimate, it would allow Lam to negotiate with Super League clubs, namely Hull FC, who are determined to bring the half-back to East Yorkshire to link up with the likes of Jordan Abdull, Cade Cust, and Amir Bourouh, not to mention current Leigh team-mates John Asiata, Zak Hardaker, Oliver Holmes, and Ed Chamberlain, all of whom have signed for the Airlie Birds next year.

In the unlikely event Lam signs he and Abdull will first choice half backs, Trueman surely will have to leave. Charles will be back up with Harman and Medforth next in line. Where does that leave Cust? If he is signed as a back up that's a waste of a quota place. It' looking likely that he'll play hooker and he's hardly played there. Surely a specialist 9 would be a better bet?

Probably just linking up with the new signings.

| A lot of people are writing off Jake Truman. His future at the club should be down to if we can negotiate an extension on reduced terms.
He’s not had a preseason in two years and our upturn in form last year coincided with his return. I’d be eager to see how he looks after pre season before I made a decision.
People are quick to forget how young he is. He was in tha same academy team as Cam Scott who still hasn’t managed a become first team regular and many still saw as a young gun.
Signing a player like Lam would be class for 12 months before he goes to the NRL. Truey would then be at a new club and the fans would fuming we let him go. Despite wanting him gone whilst he was here, just like Sneyd

Very strong rumours that the club are looking to move him on.
On the Wakefield forum that he's heading there.

If Lam was going to the NRL, think it would be now.

Trueman just hasnt done enough for me, and he's 25 these should be the prime years. Salary is a big issue, if he was just in normal wages then ok fair enough but from bits Pearson has said its a big number.

| I'd only let Trueman go if we have a replacement lined up, don't want to be going with Cust/Abdul next year.

| id hope the Cust deal isn't done, but I think it is. Waste of money and quota spot for me, even more so if we get Lam, which I doubt we will.

| Not a fan of using a quota spot on a winger but would be tempted for Sivo or Ravalawa would be like an extra forward

Sivo has gone right off the boil, Ravalawa isn't bad, but not sure id waste the quota spot on either.
