Jon Sharp was a decent player who plateaud just below the top. He looks to have done that at a lot lower level from a coaching point of view. Our coaching team have been in place too long anyway and are too much part of the culture that has evolved. We need a big change and a coach with a detached view to assess who stays and who goes. No room for sentiment.

You do deserve better than Thorman when a club has had players like Sterling playing for you in that position, I am struggling to work out why in the close season you didnt set you sights higher, It is well documented you didnt want to pay what Dobbo was asking but what quality of scrum half are you gonna get with what the board are prepared to pay ?

by the time we paid Dykes off it was so late that noone else was available

what I feel we should have done is gone with Webster for one season, he has many flaws but at least has a kicking game and is a leader
