| To be honest Even when we were playing well ,I was waiting for Seymour to do something different .He has been poor his kicking game as been way off .To me only my opinion players signing for other Clubs players leaving unsettles the team and other players form dip they are losing mates. if we win it's a bonus .this season to me has gone with all the unrest .I feel for P Gentle .But I will be there to cheer the lads on every game .Fingers crossed We get the win tonight

| Strange, as none of the Hull FC supporters I work with have ever singled out Seymour as the problem, they have always complained about the lack of punch in the pack!!

Unfortunately for Horne I have to agree that whilst i always liked the kid and he has definately been through the wars for the club it is time for us to stop liking him just because hes from the city and start expecting more from the club .
The club has been very kind and patient with horne over the years but quite frankly his form since he returned apart from a couple of outstanding matches here and there has declined and it is doubtful as a half he would make any other team in SL presently...
I have no problem keeping him fit as cover on a very reduced deal other wise he has to go because he is not a first on the list player any more... and that pains me to say it but he simply isnt

| Everyone remember that massive Seymour thread before he played and how i said he played in a side with the lowest points for to make the playoffs (Cronulla) how he went to New Zealand and did nothing.
How i thought he was a poor signing and you needed better.
Guess i was wrong then.

agree 100%, he has certainly put his body on the line for FC over the years, and done very well out of it too, it's time for the sentimentality to stop, AP clearly sees we need better at 6 and 7.

| 1.Horne
6.Whiting
7.Heremeia
9.Houghton
13.Mcgoldrick
14. Seymour
That is the suspected line up I have being told for tonight. Seems strange but could work if true.

Life is a game of inches, so is football. Because in either game - life or football - the margin for error is so small. I mean, one half a step too late or too early and you don't quite make it. One half second too slow, too fast and you don't quite catch it. The inches we need are everywhere around us. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone else around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when add up all those inches, that's gonna make the difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying! You've got to look at the guy next to you, look into his eyes. Now I think ya going to see a guy who will go that inch with you. Your gonna see a guy who will sacrifice himself for this team, because he knows when it comes down to it your gonna do the same for him. That's a team, gentlemen. TONY D'AMATO: |

Well I guess we will all have to bow down to your superior knowledge eh?
Who are we to argue with the opinion of a KR fan when it comes to player recruitment?
Of course the truth is nobody on the FC forum is remotley interested in what you think....
______________
I back Pearson on this, Seymour hasn't been good enough (perhaps the club should have got the opinion of Horatio before we signed him?).
If we are getting a new 6 & 7 for next year then his days are numbered anyway - but maybe he might just feel he has a point to prove, that is if PG doesnt drop him.
With hindsight he wasn't the right man we needed (again, shame we didn't consult world famous player scout Horatio) and either he puts up or he is gone, that's life, that's sport, that's business.
I fear the worst tonight, but then again I didn't expect much this season anyway.
PG will be judged over the next 2 years plain and simple, and IF we get the right 6 & 7 next season Seymour will be quickly forgotten.
I also suspect he is getting paid a decent wack of the salary cap?

If he is, then I apologise for tarnishing him as a Rovers fan, the ultimate insult!
But still a know all.
And it could have easily been a KR post.
