| Let's not get carried away , we need to put our strongest team out and try and get a good win . We are not playing well to rest players or to play the kids unless they are needed , keep the momentum going !

| Our away form has been appalling for whatever reason, we have only scored 6 points and shipped in 102! I am hoping for a more competitive performance from Widnes but even so I can't see anything but a Hull win.

| We have the added bonus of having a full 2 more rest days than Widnes who no doubt will have expended a lot gaining their deserved win and despite them gaining confidence from that we ARE a better side.
Still, I'd rather put out the strongest squad, make sure we have done our homework and give ourselves the best chance of winning.
Rest Martin and I agree with, Whiting at centre to partner Sharp with Turner & Briscoe on the left.

| Hopefully we'll be concentrating on our own performance rather than Widnes which means playing our strongest team possible and trying to develope those combinations that aren't quite firing yet as well as cutting out the penalties

| Balls to developing youth, points come first!! If I were to look at the league table come September and think if only we had 2 more points the end of season could be so different..........
A youngsters or 2 from the bench for short periods is development enough in a game like this, we can not just rest people willy nilly.

3 backs on the bench at least another forward like Pickersgill,Cross and Mullaly. They have a decent pack Hull so need forward power.Kite looks good but not match fit so steady the guy into the team.

Good point but i'd find it hard to drop White or Isa after Sunday. Id drop Clarke but hes captain so he'll be playing. If Cross makes the bench, white and possibly Isa will be dropped. If Moore isn't available, I'd start White at Hooker and intercharge with Clarke.

| Am I the only one who is starting to get a bit more concerned about Sunday?
rlhttps://www.hullfc.com/newsarticle.aspx?n
James Cunningham has joined the injury list, and from the HDM I learn that Briscoe and Houghton have been away training with the England squads. This combined with the absence of Westerman, Heremaia and Aspinwall and O'Meley's ban means we can't have had that many fit/available players training this week.
on the plus side it sounds like Tony Martin will be fit.

No you are not the only one that is worried mate. This is a real banana skin waiting to happen and we can only hope that there is no complacency from the players that do take the field or it could backfire and a lot of the good work since the start of the season will be undone.
That said I am a glass half-empty fan as I was told today by a mate at work!

| Whilst I would love nothing more than a Widnes victory and they definitely deserve more respect after their victory against Wigan, I will not be holding my breath. I think you'll have more than enough in the locker for a comfortable victory.
Widnes offered absolutely nothing offensively against us, and even with a defense as leaky as ours it was never even threatened once, not even a high bomb or a caution to the wind chip over the top.
I was amazed to see the score against Wigan even with players rested. Either they have improved dramatically or a freak result.
I hope it's the former and they gain their first away victory this weekend, but alas I think it's more like the latter and a 40+ victory will be the order of the day.

Don't know what Adam Pearson has done to upset the weather gods, he moves games to 'sunny' Sunday and so far we've had snow, frost, sleat, and now rain predicted again this week!

I would drop Clarke and have White and Moore as hookers.I give Briscoe as captain but I feel Moore should play one game in the u20s to get match fit.Clarke interchange hooker.Allen,Winterstein and Cahill have played very well this season so Clarke won't play at 13.Well that is my opinion mate.
