I would be very suprised if someone doesn't come in during the next week. I know the club take a strong stance on discipline but I don't think we would have got rid without a replacement or two ready to come in.

I'd also be happy with getting Phelps. He's what we need, and we know he can play to a superleague standard, even if he isn't world class. he'd also bite our hand off for a contract.

Definitely the right decision but wasn't all of this some of our own making by signing him in the first place? Surely his 'problems' haven't only just started happening while he's been with Hull FC? Should we have taken him at the outset if we knew that he could potentially be a problem? I don't suppose it matters now but we're now desperately thin in the backs which doesn't bode well...
