He's a so-called socialist who had nothing but negative things to say about the House of Lords until the gravy train came his way, then he abondoned his principles like the fat, greedy waster he is. I don't care which RL team he supports, I'd still hate him if he was Peter Sterling's dad.

Isnt it plain to see though that as a politician he has no principles. They go out of the window with the job. He knocked the house of lords because thats what the voters wanted to hear. He has now taken his place there because he says he wants to keep them in line. Fundamentally the bloke has started with nothing and become very wealthy through telling people mostly what they want to hear. Is that smart or stupid?

Politics aside, I can't stand the man and I am totally disgusted that he is trying to be seen as a R.L. supporter, he kept that quiet until only a couple of years, or so, ago. He is Welsh, was backed by the Coalminer's Union not the Maritime Union, In my opinion, an ex-waiter who has made a lot of money out being a 'Socialist'. The original thread title was better.

I note that with all the local authority cuts leaving our roads full of potholes locally, that the fat slug has managed to get the potholes repaired outside one of his houses (the one in Sutton) this week! Only about six houses get to use the deadend he has managed to get repaired.

It is this kind of grey area where some people get perks and preferential treatment that show these sleazeballs up for what they really are.

A deputy Prime minister (ex) that punches people in the street, fornicates and commits adultery around the offices of government, cannot string six meaningful words together in the right order or pronounce them correctly - what a great advert for our country. Spent the last year of his term in the 'House' jetting around the world visiting, on our money!
