Well, thats the first time thats been banded about on here.
Personally I think you have made that up. NO BODY in professional sport turns out for nothing. 
I still find it odd that some persist with this notion that King gave everything for the cause. FFS the club effectively showed him the door for not being committed enough to train and look after his body in a professional manner.
Paul King may well be a supporter of Hull FC, but as a paid employee he certainly did not give 100% all of the time.

The way I look at it he was stood by for long enough to ensure him a testemonial, so I doubt he's out of pocket when everything is taken into account, he may have played for a reduced wage but that isn't the same as playing for free. Having said that anyone booing him on Friday is best described as being "a bit thick", I gave Paul enough aggrevation when he was an FC player (as was my right, as someone who contributed to his wages), he's moved on and FC have moved on, it was done above board and in good faith (like not paying him all at once so he couldn't pi%% it all up against the wall) |

I'll accuse you of making things up when you clearly have.
Not going to disclose amount, but I was in a privileged position information wise around the time of the Lloyd era. NO BODY played for nothing. There is nothing ill informed about that.
As to the issue of booing. Not my style to boo anyone. There is simply no point. But hey, you carry on believing the myth that King was an unpaid, fully committed servant of Hull FC
