[quote="Wellsy13":1juz9zgo]To us REAL fans, there's no better feeling than winning competitions. Getting to a final is next. Then a top 6 finish or semi-final appearance. Then I suppose the derby counts as the most important league fixture.
Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.
Quite sad, really! [/quote:1juz9zgo]
SPOT ON!
A Hull KR fan about Billy Slater:

I never denied that. You stated:
"they've gained 22,396 in 10 years? Your telling me that Hull havent gained and lost as many of the years"
Hull City have a more than the average share of band waggoners and their average attendance has gone up 1060%. You never saw Hull City shirts in Hull before, infact I know a friend who get ripped for supporting Hull City when they where in the third divison by people who are 'City till they die' now...

That speaks volumes about you I'm afraid, personally I want ALL Hull teams (except Rovers when they play against us) to do well.
COME ON YOU HULL!!!

Why are you bothered? You don't live here
Positive news for our city would've been the RL international being staged at the KC.
Instead, the unelected CEO of our community stadium seems to believe it is primarily an asset of Hull City and wields his power to ensure, as far as he can, this exclusivity. I do not like or trust Duffen, and his recent speeding exploits and dismissive arrogant comments following his ban after being convicted of doing 55mph in a built up inner city area:
"Outside court, he told the Mail: "Obviously, excess speed is a safety hazard. But I think the proliferation of speed cameras on our roads is becoming a means of revenue rather than a safety measure.
"It is wrong somebody who covers more than 30,000 miles a year is subject to the same tariffs as someone who covers 3,000 miles.
"I will now have to make decisions about how much time I spend in Yorkshire." "
...only reinforced my opinion of him.
For this reason, I hope City go down. It might help him reach the right decision and stay away for good. Sure as eggs he's only here for himself and "the good of the city" is the least of his priorities.

Similarly, people ask me how I can support Newcastle and wear black and white, whilst also being a Rovers fan. My response is that black and white stripes, and black and white hoops, are two entirely different things.

You don't like Paul Duffen (with good reason) and that makes you want to deprive thousands of kids in Hull the chance of seeing top flight Football in the home city?
Maybe you should try to lose that chip on your shoulder.

When? Certainly not in the last 3 seasons at Boulevard we wasn't. Despite blatantly lying to the taxman, our lowest official gates were around 5 and a half thousand and our biggest gates were around 9000. Anyone that turned up could see that the crowds looked much greater than the official gate. I don't get why folk try to make our history look worse than it is!

| I am not a City fan, nor a football fan, but I wish the team success, because it is good for City of Hull. I will also say the same for Hull KR.
I wish success for who, or whatever helps to raises the profile of the place I was born and raised.

Not sure the out of town bandwaggoners who joined the party last year are "thousands of kids in Hull". Thousands of local people were deprived of a rugby international though....
Local kids have always had the chance to watch City. They just chose not to for the last few decades
