| Disappointing. Not so much the result, which ended roughly how most thought it would, but thought our performance was below par, we made it far to easy for them and once they scored the outcome became inevitable.
There was a massive difference in our performance when Herman and Knight were off, but even with those two on we were still unable to ask many questions of their defence. The little scoring spree was really a case of too little way too late. Whoever beats rovers this year will have to match their physicality for eighty minutes and we didn't this afternoon, hence the result.
Think we need to be positive and view afternoons like this in the wider perspective. We've taken great strides so far this year from the depths of 2024 and if we can learn from defeat then we are still progressing. Dust ourselves down, pick ourselves up and go again next Saturday against Wire. I'm still enjoying watching this team dig in and have a go even if we fall short as we did today.
As for our dear neighbours; they look the finished article even though they weren't fully at their best today. Their appointments and recruitment over the past three years will most likely bear fruit at some point this year. Think it will be a surprise if they don't win at least one of the major pots in the coming months. Hard work will always reap dividends and we have to follow the same path if we wish to be back challenging again at the top.

| Lane has broken his arm, Fash did his calf before the game and Chamberlain twisted his knee.Have we actually got any second row options left?!

We'll need to bring someone in. Lane and Cartwright out long term. Holmes, who knows. Chamberlain just keeps picking up knocks.

Major difference is ... Peters has been at Hull KR 3 years.. Cartwright has been at Hull FC 5 months
i thought we were in the game until Crybaby Lewis went off, but they found another gear.. Felt Rapana had a mare... We go again..
It sticks in my craw to say so, but since appointing Peters, rovers have barely put a foot wrong. They're as close as you can be without actually winning something, they only have one more final step to take. I repeat what I said a couple of weeks ago; if they don't win at least one of the major prizes this year they never will. They look the finished article it pains me to say! A little ironic that they clicked into gear when Lewis went off, a situation which is a little ominous for the rest of the competition. Like you say, we go again. Learn the lesson, improve and hopefully be better next week, and the week after.

| Might have to look at getting the lad from York (?) early. And maybe play keep Ashworth at second row. Not his ideal position though. Aydin maybe could do a job there but again it's all just makeshift.

| Poor performance, Rovers are very good, be amazed if they don't win the cup.
No need to panic, including Rapana, bad game for him, but has played well thos year and been moved around.
Lane Broken arm, that's every backrower injured.
I still think every Hull fan would have taken the season start.
Probably lose the next three too, but as long as we give it a go.
Still very happy with the direction we are going.
Watching J Litten is a killer, absolutely massive mistake by Radford.

| Massively disappointed of course I am!! Not downhearted though.
But, Man we have come a long way, because 30-0 down last year and it would have been 70!! We never gave in and never stopped trying but they were as we all said all week so much better prepared for the battle after 3 years of building than we are, as someone just said after 8 months under Cartwright. But, the transformation is still positive and I'm convinced this team is going to be good!!! .With a bit of luck we could return to the heady days when this City is the capital of RL. We've just got to hold the line and be patient. Pryce only off the plane for 48 hours will be fine no doubt about it, you could see what he offers as a running half as the game wore on and he could even end up being a real icon of the club. I bet he's buggered!!! Herman is massive and about to end up a hall of fame if he's not careful but in Seizer we had our best players so far having his worst game. That is Hull FC isn't it though!! I thought incidentally, that Rapana tried too hard today and fluffed his lines a bit sa well!! But he's still a class act!
With our second year of re-building to come and the players we have signed already we will be better but we have now to focus on second row improvements and perhaps (Litten providing, who I'm convinced will make a great centre if he can keep injury free) a centre or two other wise I'm certainly not down hearted and its great to listen to so many fans after the game still being positive and understanding where we are at. Could have done with Barron and Cartwright today for a bit more of a threat and Cust rotating with Pryce would have been good, so fed up but not down hearted and no complaints but the next few games will be really tough however, we have ,as long as we continue to show passion and try our best, to keep the faith. I'm happy with the wanting the effort and the way the team 'Get It' More Budweiser needed!!!!!

| Errors Errors Errors , When will we learn . Poor first half left us way too much to do .Defensive line speed half of that of Rovers . You could put a dinner jacket on the Rovers player kicking the ball , No kick pressure at all . We know were we are .

| Error rate really need to improve but I think there's also an element of hitting a ceiling with the players we have. Briscoe and Hardaker worked hard but aren't what they were a few years ago. Litten again worked hard but I'm not sure is really a centre. Chamberlain as we know is squad filler. All in all means little threat from the back line.
At least with Cust back and Pryce here we now have options.

| I'd also like to see the club focus on the passing it's been poor for years and years, the ball to Sezer on the last is usually round the ankles, behind or above the head and those lost split seconds getting the kick away hurt us

Agree with the last play distribution, Sezer had to take at least 3 or 4 passes above his head. Rapana's error rate is really hurting us in crucial times within games also. Fans can bag the likes of Fash & Chamberlain but Rapana's error count must be up there at the top.
