Don't bring me into it , I thought it was obviously not going to happen well not whilst Calderwood is retained anyway! There [ishould[/i be, but we may have missed out. LMS seems a done deal to Saints, and Fielden looks to be staying at Wigan (I would if I were him). Hargreaves or Fitzgibbon to move up, I reckon. |

Hargreaves, Prescott, Wheeldon all names rumoured.
A more mature Wheeldon on reduced terms could well be an option but i'd rather we looked at Hargreaves if we havent got LMS or Fielden. |

Yeah, heard all 3 mentioned, but I agree that Hargreaves is the one I'd like us to bring in. Not as convinced with Wheeldon as one of our first-choice 4 and concerned about Prescott's injury record. |

It looks like Dowes, Yak, Hall and Calders all leaving and so far only Sharp coming in.
I expect 2/3 more signings. Very much doubt it will be Fielden now but a young prop like Prescott or Hargreaves would be ideal imo. That would give us a young prop, Moa, Ogre and Radford. PLus the option of Lauaki/Fitz to step up if required.

Perhaps the media commented and pursued this rumour because of the amount of phone calls and emails regarding this player? I told about ten people last night and i'm sure many others did likewise. The reason I did not think this thread was a wind up is because I didnt think anyone could be so sad and desperate for attention on an internet forum.
But hey, as long as some of you had a right old giggle about it, thats fine.
