I have to take side with the Hull fans on this one. I would NOT pay £20 to watch a game from our southstand, infact I doubt I would pay £10, not when I can watch it from the comfort of my own home or in the pub(which will probably have a better atmosphere than the southstand).
Fans from ALL of the other clubs are coy to just how poor the view is from the stand is and until we vastly improve our away facilities the club have to realise that away supporters wont want to come to CP. I know that there are people who will say that wakey and bradford have poor away stands, the point is at wakey you are tight up against the pitch and at bradford you are set back a bit but are high up , hence at both grounds you still get to see the game. you cant even see the in goal area from our south stand due to the advertising boards!!
Had this game not been on t.v then i think it would probably have sold out.

Thing is were not actually allowed to do that. We would have to set the price as £30 for all away teams and then offer a discount to everyone but Rovers

Tbh I think a lot of rovers fans have the same views, however they would rather hop on the bandwaggon just for the sake of argument.

This is relevant but fans at newcastle are 1/4 mile from the centre circle at one of thier stands.

Spot on, sums up exactly the reason I won't go to the South Stand at CP.

Look on google earth, at the mid point of the stand you're in excess of 40m from the dead ball line and not a lot closer at the the ends of the stand.

Good job they invented stands that go up then so you can look down on the pitch to see what is happening.

Thats what I said before the Derby this season. However, in light of Rovers generous half price ticket off to fans of their Nazi Party Club, I'd charge Master Of Hatred £50 per ticket, shaft Rover and their fans in one fatal swoop. See how they like it then, judgemental little pi1cks

Were just not mugs who throw our money at Hudgell whenever he snaps his fingers. Have you paid your £60 to be an elite Rovers fan yet?

Rovers are just ripping us off and as fans have said for once we have stood together on this one. Who do they think we are, hiking the charges for an area is the worst for seeing in the Super League, then they grumble on here becuase we are not buying them.

It has nothing to do with our traveling support with 2,000 at Leeds 3000 at Wakey and the same at Cas, we travel however we are playing, its just the fact that we do not like being ripped off, Simple. Even Dobbins fans say on here they would not pay £20 to stand there at their own ground!

The constant letters from away fans in the RL press about trouble at the ground and the poor away supporters facilities keep the travelling fans to Caravan Park down even compared with those at the KC.

It is no coincidence that, as some Dobbins fans say on here the three biggest travelling supports have been either from teams across the Pennines (whose supporters have probably not travelled before) and Cas (who have just come up). It would be interesting to see how many of those away fans who were put in the South end would come again!
