I don't disagree with that at all. In fact IIRC he often played at hooker for us.
I think the time spent in NL1 was also good for him as it allowed him to develop his game under less pressure for instant performance than in SL. |

In terns of what is realistically available my order of preference would be:
1. Matt Orford
2. Brett Finch
3. Michael Witt (option now gone i think)
4. Nathian Fien (not a natural 7 i know)
5. Terry Campese
6. Danny Brough
7. Luke Robinson
8. Chris Thorman
Although anything after option 5 would be dissapointing

Think he only played for St George but he didn't come through the ranks as a designated FB.
St George did a "HULL FC" on him and coverted his utility value into a specialist position, but they did it well!!!
