Totally agree Steve...
Radford says, It can't be fixed on the training field, so we will be stuck with this level of performance , until he's gone or someone comes into assist on this matter.
Lets face it.. we are a poorly coached side.

| Always thought it and still seen not enough evidence to be proven wrong that Radford isn't a good enough coach to take us forward, I'd keep him as defensive coach, but he makes the same errors each week,
Poor substitutions again last night, Paea was off for 40 mins (including HT), Feka not on until 65 mins. Should have taken Westy off, can you imagine if Shaul or Lineham would have made that many errors.
As for the players good effort, pretty strong defence, but far too many errors again, 3 games now which is a real worry.
Massive game on Wednesday and reading Radfords comments I'm not convinced he is very confident about winning.

| Whoever the coach is we have harboured the same problems for years. Last night how many sets did we complete? How many times did we lose the ball in an attacking position on the second and third tackle? How many times do we make a break to find that no one is in support or indeed even up with play by the time the ball is played? When Leeds make a break there are players swarming round the ball for an off load, our boys are always thirty yards behind the play.
This is the basics and what the top teams do.
How and if we ever do make the last tackle our kicking option always seems poor, it is either badly executed or no one seems to know what's happening.
Problem is how do we change it???
It's no secret that the majority never wanted our current coach and nothing in a season and a half has changed that out look.
IMO we should have moved heaven and earth to bring in Powell, he has done a top job with an average squad that has consisted of a lot of Hull and Rovers rejects. Anyway keep smiling COYH

| Hull weren't at the races last night, and let's be honest we haven't been for the majority of the season.
Like a lot of people, our brief mid-season run didn't manage to change my opinion of our coach.
Last night, and most matches - some of the coaching decisions are ridiculous, amateur coaches wouldn't even make those mistakes.
It's very easy for people on here to knock Radford, but unfortunately this is a results based business, and he has to be the fall guy - as long as he's in charge we will be bang average, and I'd much rather we strive to be greater than that.

| The lineup for Wakefield will be interesting. Pryce, Ellis and Mini need a break. Westermans handling was awful but he was the only player to run a line and looked like breaking the Leeds defence which he deserves credit for.

So why do they need a break? Please justify your observation without sporting cliches and the usual bullsh@t rhetoric.

Not trying to defend Radford particularly, but...
During our long winning run we were anything but a 'poor handling side'. Whatever's changed it can't just be down to the coach.

Mini looked knackered in his second spell last night. Thought he made a couple of lazy decisions by not getting back onside. No point having him in the team if he can't give his full potential. I'd much rather see him playing fully fit on Sunday as he has been a pleasure to watch this year.

Sorry but don't see what this quote has to do with the discussion. No one has said there's nothing to celebrate or enjoy about reaching a major final.

Well someone's still upset from last night.
Pryce and Mini just made it last night and looking back on both performances they both shouldn't have played, both wasn't 100%. Ellis looked shot last night again 50 mins in, he's had a few knocks over the last couple of weeks, it's the perfect game to give him a week off.

You think it will be quite an easy game then? Let's hope the players feel the same.

Wouldn't say easy but we should win even without those 3.
