| I thought Seymour was very good, the issue for me in the halves is Horne, the sooner we move him to full back the better. Horne's defensive efforts can't be criticised, but he continually offers little in attack. I really hope the Brett Finch rumour is true.

| Whilst we still have Russell here, Horne has no chance of being full back, the difference between the 2 is night and day

Wigan want him back, we can only hope that he gets fed up of being back-up to Tomkins and requests to leave.

| It's not just always down to how he's playing, if he has no options either side of him etc he won't be able to perform as good as he can. Put Scott Dureau in the Widnes side and he would be getting the rave reviews as been the best 7 in the league would he. Dureau also has a top 6 next to him in Pryce, we don't.

I'd add Grix as well, personally. As I said earlier, few sides have 2 genuinely top notch halves, most have 1 with a good to very good partner. I think we've now got the good to very good in Seymour, but we still need the top notch partner.

Westerman hit hard in defence and barked out orders, he hasn't had chance to hit form yet

Correct. Given the length of time he's been injured I thought he showed up well.

couple of times he went a bit high but overall he hit well and hard, I think if Russell goes we should try the extra back rower at stand off again but with Westy, he has the flare to play like a stand off when required

Yip...only Wigan that have 2 top drawer halfs.

I'm actually undecided on Leuluai being really top drawer as a half. Catalan have the best pair in SL for me.

| Can't believe some people are actually classing Seymour as average at best. He's not world class, I don't think there are any world class halves in the league but Finch and Dureau come close. He's a very good half on his day but to say he's average is stupid imo. Matty Smith, Horne, Hanbury, Gale are average. Seymour is a better standard then those.
