I have never seen a player with the skill set of Manu in the Black and White before, and will be a while before we ever do again - would love to see him finish his career here

| I think Ogre will go and Moa is 50/50. With the two young players we have signed (I hear) then Martin and Briscoe could well be off. Whiting and Manu will stay but I reckon at least one if not both Turner/Aspinwall will go. Burnett will go and I can see a few other youngsters not getting deals.
I think other than the three additions I believe we have secured (incl Ellis) then maybe one/two more maybe to come. Prop is a key area for me, even if Moa stays I don't think him, Lynch, O'carroll, Bowden and Pitts is good enough.

I treally don't see any of crookes, pitts or arundel being "future internationals" (although I realise arundel is in the knights squad)

| Whiting, Manu, Turner and Sharp all 2 year deals please.
Whiting and Manu are no brainers. Game changing players.
Turner is proving that he can now play consistently at a good level and is still young. Would be happy to see him replace Martin, would not be happy to see him replaced with Arundel.
Sharp has proved he earns a good 2 year deal for sure. Doing a great job and getting better by the match.
Aspinwall is proving a better signing then I expected, f he keeps it up I would be happy to give him another deal.
Would love Moa to stay, hope we can persuade him to stay for another 1-2 years but it's a long shot IMO. Can see both him and Ogre going and being replaced by another top prop signing from Oz with their wages.
Burnett, Martin and Lyne to go. Burnett obviously not even in the picture anymore. Martin done a good job, but a position which needs quality. Lyne has never really impressed me.
Kent, Nicko and Pearce are to earn deals as the season goes on. Nicko and Kent both on the fringed of the first team and been full time for a couple of seasons now. If they impress, keep them on. Haven't seen as much of Pearce yet, so up to PG to make best judgement.
Can see Briscoe seeing out his contract and I expect the club to already be eyeing up his replacement.

| you know something tells me that given the recent huge signings we have made that we may loose the likes of Moa and Ogre and maybe Manu to make a big lump of cap available but then all will be forgotten as we blast everyone away with another YOWGE signing like ellis yet again that leaves the rest of SL gasping ........
it feels all a little Sterling, kemble Ohara ish again in the way we are looking at guys who are buying into the vision we clearly now have at the KC
great innit

| I don't think it is time for a big clear-out, we just need to add and build on the existing squad.
Personally I think Martin will retire, and that we will release fringe players such as Burnett and Lyne...I also feel that O'Meley and Moa would leave, but I would like to retain both of them.

I'd be more confident of that line up if O'Carroll wasn't bloody injured every two minutes. Lynch and Pitts starting with O'Carroll and Moa on the bench is reasonably handy-looking, but we'd struggle if O'Carroll was spending half the season on the treatment table.

| I`d let go all those that have let us down this season...... oops, no-one has let us down. Lets work on what we have and give the emerging talent a chance. Some fickle fans on here ready to write our `loyal players` off and they haven't got a fecking cluewhats going on contract wise.

What an odd post. I don't think anyone is 'writing off' any of our 'loyal players', merely speculating as to who might leave and expressing a preference as to who they would retain. If we are to progress, we'll need to improve the squad for next season. We won't win the league with the squad we have currently, however 'loyal' the players are.

| At a third of the way through the season, I really couldn't give a toss at the moment who leaves or stays. Whoever does leave, I am confident we have the wherewithall to replace with similar or better players and I'd also expect that whoever stays, we will see a marked improvement in their performance.

| I have a feeling this'll be horneys last year. If it is then would we need/want a big name coming in? (If so then who?) or would we have Jamie Ellis in the starting half backs with Seymour?
