I would choose my (so called dream world) any day of the week, to that pessimistic dark place you appear to be, Agar could win the GF and posters like you will still be convinced he is pants....... |

I don't know why you bother either. It's like you saying the singing on saturday that was objected to was a non event. Was the singing by the Hull city fans when they played QPR and chanted ' a town full of bombers' a non event as well?
If you think Agar and the team are so good, tell me something innovative that Agar has implemented on the pitch attacking wise, ie set moves etc.

No I never said that....after reading the events/explanation posted by the people involved, I said it was a non event ( in the sense it did not warrant 5 pages on a forum board!!)...

Last year in the 4N I watched what was held to be one of the best RL matches in history. The match was between New Zealand and Australia and for almost the entire duration, the game was 5 drives and a kick against very solid defences. I like to think that coaches' plans depend greatly on their opposition. Wigan knew what was in front of them at the KC and played a different game: FC didn't have the players on the park to do anything but. The game plan was different against Quins because Hull had some key players back which gave them more options in the halves and Quins aren't Wigan. By the way, did you think that Hull played 5 drives and a kick against the Quins? |

that has left us in 4th place , in the playoffs for the first time on three years and with all our big guns coming back... is that where you mean !!! |

You know what though I am positive we are going to have a real shot at the Grand Final , MO was asking questions to the whole group last week about who really wanted a big day out and those who would rather sit in the stands with a beer on the day to leave now sort of conversation.... i think the way we applied ourselves against Quins said a lot about the backbone in our side, yes we got spanked by Wigan but so have a lot of teams this year but i agree that should we meet again and i am also sure we will this year there will be a few scores to settle and a different outcome next time..
To all true fans of the club we all love dont you think with 3 games to go of the regular season that its time to stop bitching and being so over negative of everything and throw that same energy into full on support for three games and help push the lads on and up!! once the season is over we can have the post mortem but now we are at the real business end of the season sing your guts out, and lets repeat for three games the same atmosphere you all provided at Saints on the opening day of our season!! surely so close to the end of the season its time to put the hatchets down for a day or two and get behind the guys and push them into the play offs with a buzz everytime they enter the island !!!!!
come on lets show em were behind em !!! a grand final place is at stake now not a wooden spoon

To be fair Wigan have done that to most teams this season, having won 20 out of 24.
No team would have lived them if they played like they did against us a couple of weeks ago. |

I've watched Hull FC from the time David Doyle Davidson was head coach right through to the current one in Richard Agar. With regards being in the play offs for the first time in 3 years, so we bloody should be with a fully fit first team and the players in it. The way Wigan played against us wasn't anything special btw, it was the marked difference in attitude and execution between the 2 sides. All the Wigan team knew what they were doing and how they wanted to do it. Mark that with Hull FC's totally lacklustre and clueless performance of which there have been far too many under Agars tenure.
