I'm with Staffs on trying Tansey in the halves if Longy is missing on Friday. Berro and Washy have been tried there with little success. We need to find someone with organisational skills or expect similar performances to those seen over the last 2 years.

True, unfortunately, save for a few games at FB early last year. Otherwise he's not really shone consistantly since 2006 . It pains me to say that as I've always been a big fan of Richard's.

swap whiting and hall for turner and calderwood first would be my priority.

It was bloody awful. Last two seasons all over again. Horne wasn't the worst player for us but all the plays that used to work for him are just not quite there any more.

I am piffed off that Agar even played Horne..strapped up he should have used other options..maybe Turner (at least he is 100% fit!)..Agar under some serious pressure now, I think we will bounce back but his decisions have caused me some concern!! 5 more games for Agar max I would say.

Rich should follow the route of 100% recovery and fight for his place back via A team, however do not think he will hit the heights again

rest him fri. on dry hard ground he will be on the shoulders of our line breaking pack or off longy.

Unfortunately, Horney was absolute garbage today, should be dropped for friday in my opinion. I know that many of the other 16 players performances weren't acceptable, but I can't rememeber the last game which he influenced in our favour.

Have to say I agree, looks a shadow of the player he once was and to be honest it looks unlikely that he'll be the player he was or even close.

As for Friday if Long is still out and Calderwood fit then I would move Tansey into the halfs, even though I'd prefer to leave him at FB but just think Horne/Washy combo failed yet again and dismally for creativity put Whiting at FB, Hall in at centre, Calders back on the wing and Turner in to partner Tansey in the halfs, leave Horne out. If Tickle 100% then he should come straight back in as he was a massive miss today.

TBF I dont think the players in the 17 played terribly just that either the gameplan sucked or they didnt carry it out as instructed and we seem to go back to clueless dumb rugby ala last season. Its upto Agar now to show his coaching credentials and turn this defeat around with a strong performance on Friday with out without Long.
