| Might get shot down here but i'd have Noble here over the current set up anyday - OOC at the year end and consistently has his sides there or thereabouts in the play offs. Can't see why people knock the bloke.
Re McRea i'd have him in a DOR role, with his contacts in Oz coming in very handy

Of course you wouldnt. But on the flip side if you have grafted your nuts off to bring a strong infrastructure to the club and you could see that a potential period of dominance was round the corner, why would you walk away and let somebody else take the plaudits?

Because your contract has ran out and you have not been offered a new one?

Yes but i entered this discussion on the back of you saying that Noble would be silly to stay in the event of Wigan CHANGING THEIR MINDS about offering him a new deal.......

Is that it? Not the old Peter Sharp argument again is it...he's dour so he's inafective as a coach
Noble is the most successful SL coah in the comp and like i said he gets his teams there or thereabouts each year - Wigan appear to have devloped a fiar bit since he took over. That would do for me.

His coaching record certainley reads well
2001/2003/2005 Grand Final Victories
2003 Challange cup
World club Championships 2002/2004/2006
Superleague coach of the year2003
Ex Geat Britain coach with a 43% win ratio
Saved wigan from relegation 2 years ago
Wigan (with a fair few injuries , them things we as a club use as an excuse year after year) to within 80 mins of the Grand Final last year.
Compare that to our current coach and I would have noble as our coach tommorrow given the chance.

I just dont see any solid working relationship between Noble and Leneghan. Just cos things are rosey on the pitch at the moment.

| I'd have Mcrae back, we played attractive rugby, signed unknown players who turned out to be gems such as Raynor, Best, Dowes etc, he brought young players through, is a good spokesman to the media.
at the time I thought he'd taken us as far as he could and wasn't bothered that he was going, but I'd take him back now.
