I was able to access our game via an iPad (I don't have a Sky Q box, or Sky glass tv), picture quality was excellent throughout with no breakup for the entire game.
The Leeds/Wakefield game on Saturday was fine except it froze a couple of times during the second half (for a 2-3 minutes). First half this afternoon seemed ok also, didn't see the second half.
From what I've seen so far of the service (both football and rugby) it's a bit of a hit and miss affair regarding picture quality and feed. |

seems bet365 use the same feed as us as it too kept freezing and lost the last 4 or 5 minutes of the Leeds match, on a plus note, it doesn't cost anything, just set up an account and put £5 into your account and can watch all the games |

I use Now TV and haven't watched every minute of every game, but the bits I have have been great. The only gripe I have with streaming is that you're a minute or two behind those watching it "live" so spoilers often come through on the rugby group chats. Easily solved by muting notifications of course, and that's not just a problem in rugby league but something Sky may need to overcome going forward.

Agree with quite a bit of that. I have sympathy for the Salford fans, players and staff but not those in charge at Salford. They are the ones that have largely led Salford to this position and in some cases are actively making a choice to do things in a certain way such as the team selection last week. Yes, the RFL are also to blame (I think the sustainability cap in particular is stupid when they are still paying the players regardless) but Salford seemingly chose to make some kind of point here which has largely backfired. Throughout all this, the Salford board seem to have just ploughed ahead in doing what they want rather than what was potentially necessary.
To be honest, that squad selection did surprise me though. I was half expecting them to name a squad that ignored the sustainability cap altogether.

If you watch on SKY Go like I do then you need to ring Sky and insist on being put through to the Tecks and they will sort it out for you. I rang at back of last season to complain as we have an arrangement that I watch games on my PC and the wife has the telly to watch Eastenders etc. If I had to watch that I might be suicidal, I was intent on cancelling the whole of our SKY subs and thats when they put me through to Technical Dept. Ironically we have had our SKY box changed and the changes they made last year have gone si I will have to ring them again this week. Good Luck |
