Pryce not coming I've heard. Was but he's changed his mind due to that photo that was leaked
I heard he's already here and training with us. Rumours are wild haha. This i do believe. They usually release a fair few captain run photos. However they didn't today

| The Dentist Wilf:
Great news on the appointment of Gareth Ellis as Football manager under Myler. Gareth breathes Hull FC but has a great reputation outside the club and anyway it will be Myler who is steering the recruitment ship but not having to now do all the ticky tocky stuff involved in moving players into the club and the area, detailed negotiations sorting housing out integrating the flow from Academy to first team etc etc. I guess I would have liked an outside appointment featuring an established Football manager but there just aint that many around and one can just hope that Gareth turns out as ex player Motu did. He has loads of contacts down under as well as being extremely well respected in this country. But most of all I'm just pleased that this being a board level decision shows again that its money where your mouth is stuff in getting the back office sorted into a professional outfit. We have come a long way since James Clark was doing everything from controlling the finances to running the marketing and from identifying (with no experience) new targets to being the resident DJ forum host etc. For me its Good to see us sorting the clubs structure out!
I'd be happy to be wrong, but didn't Ellis go into the DOR role when he first retired and then decide he wanted to be more hands on with the coaching? I guess this new role does both though, which I assume with Feka (and whoever else before) here previous he won't have had much to do with. I'm just pleased he's sticking around. One of, if not the best signing the club has made in the modern era.

It's outrageous that catalans have to pay the travel for other sl clubs. No surprise they are struggling funanciallly
Agreed, it’s pathetic from the rest of Super League to have pushed for this. Pathetic but eminently predictable. Catalan are being isolated in a gathering blizzard of self interest. But I fear we haven't seen anything yet. It's only the beginning wait till Hetherington Wood and Beaumont get going!!! Massive changes are a foot!! Matt Shaw did say Catalans are struggling financially on his podcast this week, the travel bills are approx £1m a year, most clubs would struggle with this sort of financial handicap. Hopefully NRL Europe comes to fruition and we can leave the small minded clubs and their owners behind to fight for the scraps, whilst the elite clubs kick on to the next level

If you cant afford it....time to drop out the league!

| Harrison would be a great signing I wonder if he comes would mean Ashworth not staying, I like him but does he offer value for money, signed by the previous recruitment team who where throwing silly money at anyone.

I heard that we had to pull the plug on the deal last minute cos the really witty and original ‘announce Pryce’ tweets and comments crashed all the socials.

| Pryce would be a phenomenal signing. Future 'build-a-team-around' material.
