I'll always get behind the team, although there are times when I question my sanity for doing so.

We do have to live with it. We dont have to like it though.

I think the term 'Agar bashing' is a little disingenuous. I'd say 'justified criticism' was more accurate for the most part. It's not like (most) people are getting on his back for no reason.

| What I don't understand is why the board thinks that Agar is the way forward. Surely they're not that short sighted to realise that the results and style of rugby played under Agar is actually detrimental to success at this club.. It's as if they can't comprehend that the extra expense of getting a proven coach, like Bennett, Hasler or Bellamy would actually be recouped due to onfield success and higher gate receipts, merchandising etc.

I get the feeling Agar talks a good game which acts as a smokescreen to the board. They are obviously happy with mediocrity that the fans feel we dont deserve.

I love my club more than I dislike Agar so now we know where we stand for the forseeable future its now time to get behind the team and hope he comes good!!
I wont finish this thread with any Negatives about him so will just say Cmon Richard, give us a club we are proud of and the club we all deserve please!!!
time to back him now!!

People really need to get to grips with the fact that he is our coach and whether you love him or hate him it's not going to change for the forseeable future. So far this season we are on track for the top 6, which was generally regarded as an achieveable goal, so as of now he is delivering this season.
Question. If we had scraped wins against Salford and Crusaders (and lets be honest we quite easily could have done), and were currently joint top with Wigan, would people still be on here berating Agar. Personally I think people have read too much into a couple of bad results and after the last couple of years they fear the worst. We are a different team this year and I think we will bounce back in style tomorrow.

| The bigger issue to me now is that this announcement has been made is that it will mean we are stuck with Radford , Dowes and Yeaman too for a while longer ..
To a certain degree I can accept issues with the coaching (im lying) but I cant accept that we still rely on nearlys and hasbeens to win matches

People are saying it's far too early to give Agar a two year extension, rather than 'berating' him per se. I have made numerous posts when people have been calling for his head saying it's too early to judge him yet. But it's too early to judge him either way and a two year extension at this stage looks very rash.

What about if you neither love him nor hate him, and simply have some concerns over his track record and the timing of a contract extension.
And are we only allowed to discuss things that we can materially affect now? That would rather limit topics of conversation on here.

We do only see the on field results, and while this is undoubtedly far and away the most important factor (especially for fans) maybe there are other factors that we don't see that are weighing in his favour.
And maybe the BOD have a different definition of success to us fans.
