Only reason I am going is to applaud Mini and Manu.
The 17 players putting that shirt on are mostly seasoned pros. They should need little coaching or motivation.
I would rather see us field our reserve team and let them have a dig than watch the current dross.'"
Why applaud just Mini & Sika? Are they not a part of the "current dross"? What about Washbrook, Paea & Logan who are also leaving?

I'm genuinely interested to get an outsider's view if that is your genuine opinion. Which players from our 2020 squad are not good enough?
We have genuine pace and power in the backs. The halves compliment eachother well, and in Kelly you have one of the genuine stars of SL. Connor is petulant but undoubtedly talented, Wane would get more out of him imo. The pack is big and aggressive without being slow and plodding. Houghton needs to up his game, but again he has shown himself a very capable player in the past. Shaul is what he is. Either we need to swap him for Connor or adjust our gameplan to suit him better.
I aren't saying we are a team of superstars. We have filler in there just like every team does. But imo the squad has all the ingredients to be a genuine GF threat. But the whole is way less than the sum of all the parts. That says that the coach doesn't know how to get the best out of what he has got.

| Having been to all but one of Hull FC's home games, and watching as a neutral I am of the opinion that a change of coach would help. The plays are so predictable it's so easy for the opposition to read. Ellis, giant of a player he may have been is clearly past his best. Taylor has mastered catching a ball and runninga few yards but so very rarely offloads, Jake Connor, if allowed to play his game is excellent, it's no wonder he gets annoyed when being stifled by the game plan. I.E. 5 drives and a kick, not many players are running on to the ball but waiting for it to come to them. Hull FC have some great centres and good wingers so why not try and get the ball to them? OK so Radford was in charge to win two Challenge Cups, but watching him celebrate them it was as if he had done it personnally. He seems to want his players to play how he did, get the ball run a few yards then stand with his hands on his knees. Adam Pearson has done well bringing money to the club, but doesn't seem to have a rugby brain. As for the Stadium it is one of the best, it's the crowd that dictate the atmosphere, if they had exciting open play to cheer, so very often a few away supporters can outsing etc. the home supporters.

Last night was the 12th time in three seasons. Sixth time this season alone.
As a comparison we conceded six between 2014 and 2016.
This season's six matches the total in Peter Gentle's first season (2012).

I've got massive respect for wane. And as a wire fan I was quite sick of him s
Winning grand finals against us with inferior players! I just dont think he would be anywhere near as effective at any club besides Wigan.
Still a top drawer coach though.

And you do realise we were 1 disallowed try from losing the 2017 final.
Winning a CC does not make you a better coach just for your information.
Consistency, improving the quality of your playing staff and challenging in GFs and world club challenges does.
Wane beats Radford hands down not that I'm a fan of his either but please take your blinkers off.

Under Radford we've had our only ever Man of Steel, we had another player finishing in the top 3 of the man of Steel, we've had more players than ever in the end of season dream teams than under any other coach.

Nothing to do with improved recruitment then?
We clearly have been watching different Hull teams the last 2 seasons.
Biggest SL defeat, twice I believe , longest SL losing streak, biggest Magic weekend defeat, have I missed any?
Oh and omg we are so boring.
What you've stated are individuals, Radford does not seem to galvanise or improve, or inspire a team.
Clearly wearing spectatles of a rose coloured nature helps when viewing

Radford is still relatively young as a coach, he's still learning lessons himself, and he'll be better off for going through the tough times as well as the good times.
It's to easy to throw the towel in when the hard times come, it's the hard times when he'd need our confidence in him more than ever.

Don't disagree with most of that but if he needs our confidence in him we'll that's a concern and worry that he's not capable himself.
It's clearly obvious I'm all for a change of coach now.
I was initially supportive of Radford's appointment at 1st but we have become predictable, predominantly boring and rely on power rather than guile. That coupled with 2 seasons of dross and so many unwanted records means I'm fed up and want the club freshening up.
The coaching is stale and will not inspire pass sales.
