I wonder wether the RFL wanted a capacity crowd, delay the announcement until FC fans purchased tickets 
I’m such a conspiracy theorist, apparently it’s because lockdown opening has been delayed. I tried for a single ticket but not allowed, has to be groups of 6 from 2 households. I did get a single ticket for the semis and was sat on my own like “Billy no mates”  |

I think there is a bit of a conspiracy but it makes sense. Clubs need money and fans are the cash cows. They have to try get the most milk with the least amount of moo.
By the sounds of the Leigh statement they have been losing money from people pirating the Our League stream. So they reacted by shutting it down at the first opportunity. Now they've had to backtrack after the Covid announcement this week.
