| He did OK depite not seeming fit. Really struggled in the last 10 which probably contributed to the error. He'll go very well this year IMO.

| I noticed that as well Tommy, After the tackle Sharp was looking to Wade to see what he wanted him to do. Wade motioned him to move further across the field and then they switched back when it was safe to do so.
Good to see communication like that amongst the team.

Ah,so it was his fault we drew and the weather was bloody freezing?
Personaly I think we have a good full back here.

Agree...It's great to have a fullback who can take the ball on the full rather than letting it bounce. What i have seen of him upto now he will be very good for us.

I said exactly the same after the game.
When he get's the ball, he'll either do something brilliant or stupid - we don't know.
The thing I want first and foremost in a fullback is reliability in their own half. Catching bombs, good positioning etc - basically a player who won't make many errors.
I hope he is rusty and we can expect better. His loose carry on the first tackle and his bad pass to Tickle from acting half both cost us dearly. He regularly got turned around by their kicks too as he positions himself too close to the defensive line IMO.

| Passed a late fitness test so don't think he was 100%. That said he looked very solid to me and was always supporting the ball carrier, a couple of mistakes but nothing of real note.

I'm not trying to get on his back, but the two mistakes I mentioned were pretty notable.
The pass to Tickle from our own goal line was attrocious. If Tickle had timed his run too early, then he shouldn't have passed it and taken it on himself. Instead, the ball goes to ground & Wire score a very soft try.
The loose carry near the end on our first tackle was also a big blow. I'm not saying their last try came directly from this mistake, but we had some very good field position at the time, and Wire got a set of six on our 30m line.
That said he did look good in attack, his support play was excellent and I think he'll get quite a few tries this season.

People round me were shouting about him "ambling" but I'd rather have a confident full back picking the ball up correctly and safely than sprinting back to get it and then knock on. Didn't do much wrong for me today

| He is class and I am not bothered that he doesn't run it in like Briscoe, players very rarely break a tackle running it back like that.
I do think he need to look at his ball carrying though, its a bit loose.

| I think we saw the best and worst of him in the build up to their last try....he catches a bomb one handed and then casually looses possession....the set after which they score in the corner to level the match....he's a naturally talented rugby player but then prone to bouts of laziness because of this natural talent.
I think he will be a hero for us but he will provide us with some heart stopping moments for sure....I don't think he's going to alter his style just because he's at a new club, at the age of 30/31 or whatever he is, if he was going to make changes he would have made them far earlier in his career.
Defintely reminds me of Blacklock....they even have the same build!

| Mckinnon, for me looked solid under the ball and very calm taking it back up. His carry is a touch loose though and I thought at times, he looked a little too calm.
Excited to see him progress throughout the season, though.

“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

I sat elswhere in 2nd half and they was calling hell out of him.......they dont watch the all round play he does, wire made a break in 1st half and he was shouting at Sharp to stay with the winger as he had Myler and he looked inside and saw Horne covering...all round fantastic full-back play.
