Is it more likely that James Rule denied KCFM permission to broadcast the forum after hearing of their decision to end their commercial partnership with Hull and no longer cover matches?
Wouldnt blame him.

Like I said above, KCFM pulled the plug on the forum, nothing to do with James Rule, they are as disappointed as some of us.

Fair enough. Just seems a bit short poor on their behalf to cancel an event at 24 hours notice that i guess was in their listings, would have attracted a reasonable listening audience by their standards and they may potentially have sold advertising space to companies who wanted to be aired to that target audience.

everyone involved from the club i am told think its damned rude never mind short notice , however such is life and things come around , when our own technology kicks in we wont need any of them and thats the plan !!!

As far as i am aware discussions over a new deal are still ongoing and have just reached a stalemate as things do in business.The forum tonight was never going to be on live as the old deal had ended. Kcfm had some very high hopes for the season ahead and were putting together a new commentary team just after xmas,the deal with Fc had been a good one for them but a better one for Hull and its fans.

A shame that Airlie Night will no longer be on. I know it had its critics on here but it was a good communication channel between the club and the fans and a world away from Sports Talk on Humberside.

Always been disappointing by KCFM, when it first launch I hoped it would be a more modern alternative to the cheesy jingles, awful 'banter' and insane callers on Humberside.

instead in reality it was a marginally less annoying version of the Humberside programme.
