Couldnt believe when McRae,stated we were offering a marquee contract to another
backrower ie Manu.

Lets offer a marquee contract instead to Finch and/or Dureau.

Crookes, Arundel, Johnson, Watts? Galloway? Ellis plus now we have huge amount of money from Manu to spend and possibly Wade's money too.

Going to wait till he is gone, don't want to be upsetting him whilst he wears our shirt, plenty of good rugby left in the lad this season

At first I was gutted at the thought of losing Manu to another SL team. But the more I think about it, I can't see it been too much of a big deal really. Yes he's got a unique style of play that arguably no other player in the league can do. But to say we've offered him the highest contract at the club for someone his age is crazy. We've lost Manu but we've brought in Gaz Ellis who in my opinion is in the top 2 back rowers in the world along with Thaiday. We've upgraded on Manu ten fold.
Now what we need to do is if we are to lose Turner which I think we will bring in a top quality centre, some big nasty south sea islander would be nice (with big hair and a tattoo down his right arm )
Or a top quality prop along with a couple more if rumours are to be true.
Our team wouldn't of had the right balance to it we'd be over stocked in the back row, too much of the salary spent on one position. Use his money to bring in better players in other areas. I'm sure his departure will work out better for the team over all.

Add to that Ogre and possibly Seymour

Can't see the point in losing Seymour tbh, he's having a good season and I can't see us bringing in better. Unless we fancy our look with Dereau

Totally agree, going all out for Finch should be our priority along with another top quality prop, centre and a 'salary cap' prop.

Can't have fancied being on the bench at hull next year . Maybe saints have promised a starting role
