naughton I understand is cheap as chips as he just wants to prove himself.
I know lancaster has some 1st team games but curtis is older n more physically developed. N the reserve comp isnt shoddy in oz. Has a greater skill set (has left to right pass in the video is top class)
if Lancaster leaves cos he wants loads of money n hull can take an educated guess on a kid like this then I'll personally wont hold it against the club

Was Naughton highly rated at Bradford? did he stand out at the u19 level, anyone seen him play for them? Bradford have a good track record of producing young talent (just have trouble keeping hold of them!!).

Michaels looks alright doesn't he? Fast and can pass to his winger. I'm sure our NRL watchers will fill us in a bit more on his overall game.

I hope the other signing comes off because then we'll have a player called "Noggers" Naughton.

Let's hope he's more of a Colin Best than a Todd Byrne. Personally I'd stick with the Crooks Lineham combo and invest in a hooker to compliment Houghton.

Naughton would be useful backup.

If he impresses in pre-season I could see Sa moving ahead of Yeaman in the pecking order such that Michaels will play on the left with Talanoa and Sa will play on the right with the Flying Pig. That would give us a pretty respectable mix of pace and power.

Dammit. This travesty of a season isn't even dead yet and I'm already feeling optimistic for next year. I never learn!

Michaels isn't very good at all, and his best position is on the wing. He played for Gold Coast on Sunday and was ordinary, but they were hammered 42-0 so I don't think anyone was above ordinary.
