So when the Cllr says the plans would have Hull FC out of the stadium in 15 months he's right? Adam Pearson and Mr Allam's reply that it couldn't happen and explained why it wouldn't be beneficial are just lies?  |

It all depends. If you own it and it's going to cost you a lot of money to upgrade it, it probably is a liability, especially if the cost of the upgrade is greater than the actual value of the land or its income. |

Its hasn't been wildly reported at all, if you listen to one of the interviews with Assem Allam he clearly states he wants the KC stadium and as part of the £120M development he sees the handing over of the KC to him as HCC contribution to the development instead of £40M, so he's either giving a gift or he isnt!!!
With regards to the leases in place by the tenants to play out of the KC, if its as easy for him to take his ball home and remove City to play in Melton as he's threatened then its as easy for him to tear up any other lease if he were to own the KC.
As yet I have yet to hear any clear idea from him of actually what it is he is wanting to develop under the so called 'Sports Village'. This is the reason I believe HCC have intially rejected things as there seems to be no real plan just a lot of bull & bluster.
Will make a point of asking my old mate Ehab what the hell's going on next time I bump into him. |
