Something is being sorted, my bet is minority share or some kind of sponsorship or partnership arrangement whatever that could be but they’re being really tight lipped about it. That’s why if someone says they’ve been told it’s a takeover lead by any specific individual or individuals I’d call BS. Even the usual ITK’s don’t know on this one.

I don't think it'll be a full buy out.... yet. My betting is Thirkill getting a minority stake for a cash injection.

This, I know people say they wouldn’t believe anything AP says but without mentioning AT by name that’s exactly how he described it from the beginning. A cash injection in exchange for equity. Silly rumour season started after that but if history has taught us anything it’s that AP is more likely to over promise then under promise, don’t think he was being coy. Maybe it might lead to a takeover in the future who knows.
I also don’t buy this they’re buying the club but Adams’s staying on as CEO for continuity it makes no sense. If he had a chance to get his money back I suspect he’d be long gone, don’t think that’s any secret wouldn’t see him wanting to stick around. It also makes no sense that a shrewd business man would buy a failing organisation and keep the same person running it, they’d want their own CEO in who they trust to turn things around.

| AP’s statement yesterday was a bland cut and paste offering.
Hopefully this is because things are happening in the background. I’m worried if not. We’ve heard a lot of words in the past that have amounted to not much.
Need a fresh injection, not only of money, but energy and ideas.

Would only be Rovers or Warrington who would afford it, Wigan possibly but doesn’t seem like their style nowadays.
I’ve not seen the story but hopefully the location would work against Rovers, his Mrs plays for Everton so he’d want to be in that location.

What if we offered him 6 days a week off as long as he just turns up matchday with his boots?

| I’m a little in the know - I gently brought the scoop that new money was on its way via an email I received from within the Club.
It’s not Adam’s money in play here.
Adam isn’t making the decisions.
There must be a genuine reason the new ‘owner’ and ‘money guy’ Adam Thirkell doesn’t want any publicity at this stage.
Adam Thirkell runs the Club and is using Richie Myler as his proxy.
This is NOT AP’s money and AP doesn’t own 50% or more of the Club anymore.
Hence the uninspiring HDM article yesterday.
At any point did AP say he was excited?
Did he say he was reenergised ?
The announcement will come at some point but for me it’s now
‘In Adam (T) we Trust’

| So much in the know you've got his name wrong. It's Andrew Thirkill.

| Pains me to highlight another area where Rovers are far ahead of us but anyway. They posted minutes of their supporter council.

Whoever told you that in the email must have been very very high up and made a rare slip up as they’ve seemingly kept it quiet very well from everyone else. I’d love you to be right but I’m led to believe otherwise about the takeover, either way takeover or minority share hopefully there’s some clarity soon as sadly I think our supporter base will disappear rapidly if we don’t see a change and some good news soon.

The last time we were going well probably. These things are easy to do when you're winning. We do need a more open policy from the club. Comms are woeful

| I don't know about you but I'm tired and pretty dismayed after that season.
What TF states is pretty much what I've been told over the weeks from ex employees and some at the club but I think that its still an open question between that and what DSJ says, because the length of time this is taking makes me wonder if the story I was given has just been farmed out to those at the Club to keep us and them all happy and off the scent.
Who knows but its been so long now and the start of season ticket sales for 2025 is getting nearer and nearer that everyone is now holding their breath and waiting, many in fact are doing just that whilst doubting at all whether to commit again. Some are in two minds whilst some have said after all this time hanging on waiting to see what's happening that they've had enough and found other things to do on a weekend.
fact is though I think it's only fair that we got some indication as to what in the offing. I'd like a clean break and a new owner in place with Adam in a role that means he can safeguard our interests until we see how it all pans out. But who knows? Definitely none of us.
However, We can't sink much deeper and folks now just want some hope and an indication what the road ahead looks like. Give us that and no doubt many will then have the information they need to decide whether to go round again or whether they have had enough. Ideally we need to hear something soon to inspire us and the doubters otherwise we'll loose around 3000 season ticket holders I suspect, who, once gone, will never be replaced. Whilst mugs like me will just live on past glories and pay up and look happy!
There is little doubt from the folks I meet that many have now just had enough and the departure of our last two 2016 invincible has seen a line in the sand for some as well, they all need to be convinced that we as a Club have a future. I think after our support through this debacle we at least deserve that.

Absolutely correct but In fairness to Rovers they have always talked to the fans it was one of Hudgell's main Forte's and they did introduce this idea as the club was growing and building up to where they are now in an effort to take the fans with them. Its always been us who have timed our forums etc to coincide with pre season, before anything has happened on the pitch, or after a season when the promise of a brighter future was being spread around to sell season tickets.

| Right thank god that season is now behind us!!! We can all now move on with a modicum at least of optimisim of whats to come in the next season or two under JC and his newllook on and off field team. I fully expect us to bring in one or two more signings, one of whcioh i have a feeling will be a suprise out of left field top signing (i have no intel, just a gut feeling) Given that i expect s to bring in more then the below is what i expect us to line up like in 2025...
Rapana
Martin
Hardaker
NEW CENTRE
Briscoe
Abdul
Sezer
Cust
Ese Ese
Ashworth
Cartwright
Lane
Asiata
Interchanges
