I've got a rule when it comes to placing bets when FC are involved, never back Hull... That way if Hull lose i've lost a bit of money, but i'm not particularly bothered 'cause i'm happy that Hull have won... If we lose i've got my ticket money back... kind of a win-win, if you get my thinking.

| My Harlequins? Harlequins ht/ft bet didnt exactly come off on Friday. Was only a couple of quid and the odds were temtping at 7/1. Still, last time I bet against Hull we lost to Catalans and I would a few quid so not too bad. I generally don't mind betting against my team because if we win, I'm not bothered about losing the money and if we lose at least I have won something. However on Friday I was quite bothered that I lost my 2 quid |

Just taken a quick look at next weekend's early prices.
Newcastle are 15/2 to beat Arsenal which is massive. I'll see how we get on against Coventry on Tuesday night first but that is huge considering how both teams have started the season. The draw priced at 3/1 is also interesting.
