Why? I have little knowledge of him. I know by reputation that he's FC through and through and works hard. He's also been in and around a coaching set up for a long period where we've generally failed to bring players through or been able to take them on to the next level and where the players have been perceived to be soft and indisciplined. He's also come through the ranks with one or two of the senior players which I don't think is necessarily helpful and has no experience of life outside FC. His major qualifications seem to be he's here and he's from Hull.

Means absolutely nothing.

IIRC was'nt Radford in talks with the Dobbins when his last contract was running out & changed his mind when the assistant coach position was offered to him?

He has been very close to signing for the dobbins both as a player and a coach while at our club.

Of course it's a job but a tiny bit of loyality wouldn't go amiss either. Unfortunately, Radford does not have one iota of it for our club, he's a total mercenary and a very average one at that. Not only did he put two fingers up to our club as a young kid, he's threatened to go to his beloved dobbins at least twice, while he was a player and then again as a coach!

You're wrong mate. Rovers have chased him yes but he knocked them back although he was on the brink at one point. He'll openly admit.

When he signed for Bradford, Hull did the same thing of not turning up for meetings and changing contracts at the last minute. I can't remember the exact details because it was a while ago he told me but they'd had enough of being mucked around so went to Bradford.

As an FC player I doubt anyone would question Lee's commitment.
