We don’t know who the investor is. They can’t move the club if they don’t own it outright, but I can’t see anyone wanting to do that anyways.
We got a provisional grade A license despite underperforming for years and spending way under the cap limit. The reason why we might be attracting investors is that you could possibly reason that it will only take a relatively low investment to have us competing again as the infrastructure is mostly in place already, can’t see anyone wanting to spend millions and millions on a ground.

I don't have any issues with a potential new owner being a fan of another club. It could be that he fancies owning a rugby club after all these years and knows that Leeds isn't an option. He's seen FC and thinks we have potential. Similar to Adam Pearson back in the day when he was at Leeds United and bought Hull City. I think that it's fair to say that he gave it his all whilst their owner and there was never any questions about his affiliations with Leeds. So for me, there doesn't have to be a but and it can purely be something that is seen as a worthwhile investment opportunity. Time will tell of course. That's if it's even Thirkill that's investing in the first place, which we still don't know.
As for moving us out of the stadium, personally I would prefer us to have our own ground but I don't know if that's a possibility or not. Back when we moved in, everything seemed so perfect. A shiny new stadium, long term lease, good relationship with City and the SMC. Now everything feels so fragile and precarious. And the KC/KCOM/MKM has rarely felt like our home because of it.

Despite all the fuss from Derek and others this is meant to be a positive of the IMG system, an investor can see a club is safe for a few years (most things are a 3 year average) so the risk of going down and losing it all is reduced.
I'm not a fan of all the IMG idea but people do get a bit misty eyed over the relegation battle, generally it led to one good attendance for the clubs involved (like the famous battle of Belle Vue where fans were sat in roofs of houses) but SL could have lost Leeds, Rovers and now us for good in recent years and there simply aren't teams in the Championship capable of 10k crowds sat waiting

| You'd think Londo were a new club the way people are going on about them, they have been around over 40 years, people are interested in London rugby league, even when they were good.
Apart from a load of effort and a few players they have brought through the system, I'm not sure what they offer to SL

The timescale was always the back end of the year supposedly.'"
Would Myler be here if his father in Law wasnt involved?
Simple answer no

paul sewell and dave kilburn had no affiliation to rovers before becoming involved. I wonder why?

I disagree. I think the relationship is currently pretty good. if you go into the main reception there's a big Hull FC montage in there and plenty of our branding around the place. The difficulty for us is the cost of being in such a large stadium when we don't need it other than the derbies. It comes with additional costs. When city got into the premier league the rates bill went up significantly and we were forced to pay our share whilst rovers continued to pay a relative pittance. The main issue is we've not really leveraged the benefits of the stadium whilst copping for the disadvantages

no one is moving the club. Where would you move it to where there are 20k+ supporters within 30 minutes travel time?

I absolutely agree the relationship has been improving. I guess I still have ill feelings about it all after what happened with the Allam's. It's their tenure that left me feeling that our tenancy has never really been that secure.

They've been the only ones that let the side down. Even Duffen despite his 'loadsamoney' traits seemed to be quite tolerant of us. City once moved a game to a lunchtime kickoff to accommodate our playoff game the same evening.
The SMC still need us I feel, otherwise there's another 13 match days of revenue to find and despite the unexpected arrival of Coldplay concerts won't fill the void.

I read it as moving/building a new ground not actually moving the club. Both are as unlikely as each other.

| No doubt there will have been talks between potential new owners and the SMC already?
Myler has talked about the potential crowds Hull can get, so can’t see them planning on building a smaller venue.

Just seen that Jamie Shaul has signed for them as well.
